Week 28 – Autumn in pictures

Hello and welcome to Giving Tuesday, week 28… only 7 weeks to go till the final chapter (December 1st).
We’re well into Autumn and the trees have started their annual fashion show – and what a show it is… the colours are amazing! Have you been to see them at Wimpole Hall or Anglesey Abbey? They’re looking fabulous, dahling!
Get your camera ready
Given how beautiful everything looks at this time of year, we thought we’d ask you to take a snapshot of your favourite view.
This might be a special place in Royston town centre, or maybe an intriguing feature unique to Buntingford. Maybe it’s a tree-lined avenue, all dressed in yellows and red, or the soft reflection of the sky in a pond. Whatever view makes you feel better, we’d really love to see it!
Submissions are invited from everyone, and we’ll use them to build a wonderful montage of our Home-Start area.

Lights… camera… oh, why is it blurry?
Feeling those photo skills are a little bit rusty? Don’t worry, the excellent people at Photography for Parents have some great courses to get you going, and you’ll be amazed at how your photos improve over time.
If you’re pushed for time and/or cash, and just want a free quick-fix, try one of the courses suggested by Digital Camera World or try Shaw Academy, an online educational system with 1000s of free courses.
Send those photos in
Whatever you choose to capture, whether that’s with a camera or your phone (some of them have amazing photographic features), please don’t forget to send them in to us at admin@hsrsc.org.uk.
