We support local families with children aged 9 and under through tough times – providing highly-trained volunteers and expert free, confidential support for parents when they need us the most by helping them to cope, improve their confidence and build better lives for their children.

We’re here for you…

As the cost of living continues to rise, many families are facing greater financial, emotional, and social challenges, with some reaching crisis points and feeling more isolated than ever before.

Our dedicated volunteers can offer confidential, FREE weekly support tailored just for you.

You don’t need to be referred by a professional (e.g. doctor, health visitor, etc.); just contact us today to have a chat about talk about how we can help and the support we can offer, with no obligation to take it on. Sometimes, a friendly chat can make all the difference.

We’re there for parents when they need us the most, because childhood can’t wait.

As we all know, being a parent has never been easy. It can be lonely, frustrating, heart-breaking and overwhelming and life-changing events can happen to anyone.

Our charity has successfully supported local families since 1983 – working alongside parents through all kinds of tough times, such as:

Mental ill-health and post-natal depression, isolation, physical disability and illness, the end of a relationship, multiple-aged children and bereavement.

We offer:

  • Weekly Home-Visiting support, which is free, non-judgemental, compassionate and confidential
  • Three Family Support Groups in Royston, Buntingford and South Cambridgeshire
  • Expert guidance to other support services and resources
