We support local families with children aged 9 and under through tough times – providing highly-trained volunteers and expert support for parents when they need us the most.
We’re here for you…
As the Covid crisis continues, many families are finding things tough; financially, emotionally, socially, with many reaching crisis point having never felt so isolated.
Our Volunteers can offer you weekly contact that is confidential, free and just for you.
You don’t need to be referred by another professional, you can contact us today to talk about support, with no obligation to take it on. Sometimes, a friendly chat can make all the difference.
We’re there for parents when they need us the most, because childhood can’t wait.
As we all know, being a parent has never been easy. It can be lonely, frustrating, heart-breaking and overwhelming and life-changing events can happen to anyone.
Our charity has successfully supported local families since 1983 – working alongside parents through all kinds of tough times, such as:
Mental Ill health and post-natal depression, isolation, physical disability and illness, the end of a relationship, multiple-aged children and bereavement.
We offer:
- Weekly home-visiting, which is free, non-judgemental, compassionate and confidential
- Two family support groups in Royston and Buntingford
- Expert guidance to other support services and resources
