We support local families with children aged 9 and under through tough times – providing highly-trained volunteers and expert support for parents when they need us the most.

Home-start Royston and South Cambridgeshire mapAs we all know, being a parent has never been easy. It can be lonely, frustrating, heart-breaking and overwhelming and life-changing events can happen to anyone.

Our charity has successfully supported local families since 1983 – working alongside parents through all kinds of tough times, such as:

Mental Ill health and post-natal depression, isolation, physical disability and illness, the end of a relationship, multiple-aged children and bereavement.

We offer:

  • Weekly home-visiting, which is free, non-judgemental, compassionate and confidential
  • Two family support groups in Royston and Buntingford
  • Expert guidance to other support services and resources
