Join us for our April Literary Lunch with much loved author Sarah Harrison, held at the historic Old Bull Inn in Royston.
About the Author
Celebrated for a writing career spanning fifty years, Sarah Harrison is the author of more than thirty novels and remains as passionate about storytelling today as when it all began. Although writing is her first love, performing runs a very close second. Known for her wit, warmth, and keen eye for the comedy and chaos of everyday life, she delights audiences with her poems, songs, and the often hilarious – sometimes poignant – stories behind them.
The Event
Join us for Verse and Worse, a lively and heart-warming performance featuring a hand‑picked mix of poems, songs, and the real-life stories behind them. Expect plenty of laughs, and the occasional tear, as we explore the joys and challenges of everyday life, from TV cooks and tattoos to dating, divorce, board games, babies, and everything in between.
A special booklet containing many of the pieces performed will be available on the day, with all donations supporting Home-Start.
Your ticket includes a delicious buffet lunch – a perfect chance to chat, mingle and unwind.
