Multiple births, several children aged 9 or under, or simply bringing up lots of children with little support can be really challenging. It’s no wonder families in this situation could do with an extra pair of hands.
If you are short of local family or friends, a volunteer can step in. A volunteer might help you to:
- Establish a routine for getting out and about, doing the shopping, walking safely to school or visiting the park.
- Manage after-school activities so that homework is completed, children are able to engage in activities and you feel part of their early learning and development.
