Fundraiser – 20 hours a week

Home-Start Royston, Buntingford South Cambridgeshire (HSRBSC) is seeking a confident, organised, self-motivated and creative Fundraiser to join our tight-knit team. Working as part of the Fundraising team, you will use your expert communication skills and keen sense of initiative to spot fundraising opportunities, develop relationships with potential donors, and manage fundraising campaigns. 

By co-ordinating events, managing existing donors and recruiting and leading volunteers, you will hone your communication and leadership abilities while increasing the provision of funding streams to enable HSRBSC to carry out its objectives and increase opportunities for developing new and existing projects.

The ideal candidate will be organised, motivated and professional with a knack for research and planning. We are looking for someone who believes in HSRBSC’s mission and will demonstrate exceptional drive to further our existing fundraising efforts and help strategise and deliver new ones.

Key responsibilities:

This is a permanent role but will be subject to reaching agreed income and other targets throughout your employment.    

Working Hours

20 per week flexible days and hours, including some weekend and evening work. 

Salary

Between £26,530 and £30,692 FTE per annum for 20 hours a week, depending upon experience. 

Location

Hybrid, with at least one day a week in the office, based in Meldreth (SG8 6JP) with opportunities to work from home. Applicants must have use of a car, for which expenses are paid.
