Home-Start Co-ordinator Role
Co-ordinator – 20 hours a week
Home-Start Royston, Buntingford & South Cambridgeshire is expanding its service in South Cambridgeshire and the surrounding area and requires an additional Co-ordinator.
We are seeking a Co-ordinator whose main focus, initially, will be to set up a weekly Family Support Group in South Cambridgeshire, then having the responsibility of running that Group alongside managing a small caseload of families who are supported by a weekly home visiting Home-Start volunteer.
The post holder will also assist in recruiting, training and supervising a team of Home-Start volunteers, both for the family support group and home visiting volunteer roles.
The role requires an understanding of the needs of families, parenting experience or similar, together with excellent communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of office systems, budgeting, and IT are also necessary.
Experience of working with charities, families and/or volunteers will be an advantage.
Applicants must have use of a car, for which expenses are paid. An Enhanced DBS disclosure check will be required for successful applicants.
Working Hours
20 per week flexible days and hours, including some weekend and evening work.
Salary
Between £22,993 and £27,050 FTE per annum for 20 hours a week, depending upon experience.

Office based in Meldreth (SG8 6JP).
