Home-Start Co-ordinator (Part-time)

Home‑Start Royston, Buntingford & South Cambridgeshire is seeking a warm, organised and compassionate Co‑ordinator to join our small, supportive team.
This rewarding role supports families with young children during challenging times, helping them build confidence, resilience and stronger family life.

- Hours: 20 hours per week
- Salary: From £26,760 FTE per annum (pro rata, depending on experience)
- Location: Royston, Buntingford & South Cambridgeshire
- Contract: Permanent

About Home‑Start
We are a local family support charity working with parents of young children across our community. Through trained volunteers and group support, we help families when they need it most, so children can thrive.
About the role
As a Co-ordinator, you will:
- Support families in their own homes and through local family support groups
- Recruit, train and support Home‑Start volunteers
- Work closely with local partner agencies and services
- Maintain records and contribute to safeguarding and quality assurance
You’ll be part of a friendly, experienced team and receive regular support and supervision.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with families, children or in a caring role
- Is well organised and confident working independently
- Communicates warmly and professionally with families and volunteers
- Shares our commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
You do not need to have worked in a charity before.
