Join us for a relaxed and inspiring literary lunch with our Poet in Residence; Jude Simpson, in conversation with Hannah Beckerman, bestselling author and acclaimed literary commentator.

About the Author

Hannah is the author of five novels including Three Mothers, The Forgetting and If Only I Could Tell You. Her books have sold over half a million copies worldwide and have been translated into twenty languages. Alongside her fiction, Hannah is a respected book critic and features writer, with contributions to The Observer, The Guardian and FT Weekend Magazine. She is also a familiar voice on BBC Radio 2 and Times Radio, and has chaired literary events across the UK as well as judging major prizes such as the Costa Book Awards.

The Event

In this special lunchtime event, Hannah will talk to Jude about her writing life, her novels and the stories behind them, followed by audience questions. Guests will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch while listening to one of today’s most engaging literary voices. All proceeds from this event support the work of Home‑Start Royston, Buntingford and South Cambridgeshire, helping families thrive in our local community.
