40th Anniversary Concert – Celebrating Voices

Home-Start Royston, Buntingford and South Cambridgeshire would like to invite you to our 40th Anniversary concert, ‘Celebrating Voices’, led by the wonderful Linda Bance, on Saturday, 4th March 2023.
We have had lots of fun putting together this programme of music, and we can’t wait to share it with you. Not only will you enjoy a brilliant mix of singing styles, from popular tunes to choral classics, but all the choirs you will hear on the night are from your local area – and what amazing talent we have right here on our doorstep.
Who knows, you might even be inspired enough to join one of them yourself! The choirs taking part in our concert are:
- Foxton Singers,
- Reed Choir,
- Lift Off Choir,
- WomenSing, and
- Royston Street Singers.
Our amazing Poet-in-Residence, Jude Simpson, will be hosting the event for us, and local author, Sarah Harrison, will join us to recite one of her poems.
The concert will be held at the St John the Baptist Parish Church, Melbourn Street, Royston, SG8 9LG; doors open at 6:45 pm for a 7:30 pm start. Tickets are £10 for adults and £7 for under 13s, with a licenced bar available and a raffle. There is free parking at the Health Centre car park opposite the church.
