Creative Conversations with Sarah Harrison

In this episode of our Creative Conversations, Jude is joined by writer and performer Sarah Harrison to talk about life, stories and the joy of being an entertainer.

Sarah is the author of more than 30 novels; including the bestseller The Flowers of the Field, Heart’s Ease, The Rose in Winter, Matters Arising, The Nightingale’s Nest… to name but a few, and some of her children’s books include; In Granny’s Garden and Laura and the Squire. She has also written a how-to book, How to Write a Blockbuster, where she draws on her own experiences as an author and shares advice on how to write a blockbusting novel of your own!

Sarah is also part of a duo Pulsatillas, where she composes her own songs for her performance, and regularly appears on TV quiz shows.

“I sometimes,” says Sarah, “have to pinch myself to believe that I make my living doing what I always dreamed of, and like best.”
