Behind The Mask

Our partnership with ITV’s The Masked Singer is helping parents to share what is #BehindTheMask, so they don’t have to pretend everything is OK. We’re here for parents so that you can share your difficulties and find the support you need.

Become a Home-Start Volunteer

We are currently recruiting volunteers for our Preparation Course starting in February 2022. If you live in Royston or Buntingford and surrounding villages, or SG8 villages of South Cambridgeshire and can give two hours a week or more to support a local family, please get in touch.

About Us

We support local families with children aged 9 and under through tough times – providing highly-trained volunteers and expert free, confidential support for parents when they need us the most by helping them to cope, improve their confidence and build better lives for their children.

We’re here for you…

As the Covid crisis continues, many families are finding things tough; financially, emotionally, socially, with many reaching crisis point having never felt so isolated.

Our Volunteers can offer you weekly contact that is confidential, free and just for you.

You don’t need to be referred by another professional, you can contact us today to talk about support, with no obligation to take it on. Sometimes, a friendly chat can make all the difference.

Help us reach our fundraising target…

Our fundraising target for 2021/22 is £185,000 and we need your help to reach it.

There are many ways in which you can help, from simply making a donation to organising a fundraising event, or perhaps you would like to take on a personal challenge.

Visit our “What can I do to help?” page to find out more!

We’re there for parents when they need us the most, because childhood can’t wait.
