Volunteer Week: How big could a thank you be? (poem)

Volunteers Week takes place every year, from 1st to 7th June, and is a chance to celebrate and say Thank You to the millions of volunteers across the UK.

Here at Home-Start, we rely on our amazing volunteers, which includes our trustees; whether they are providing our families with one-to-one support, assisting at Family Group, or helping to run an event.

Without them, our work would not be possible and we would like to finish off this celebratory week with something special.

Our poet-in-residence, Jude Simpson, has been working on a series of poems inspired by our volunteers and neatly expressing our heartfelt thanks to each and every one.

We recently shared this one with all our volunteers, to show our appreciation for everything they do.

Do you know anyone that deserves a Thank You? Why not share this poem with them and show your appreciation too!

Jude Simpson (poet and entertainer) is HSRBSC’s poet in residence. For more about Jude visit www.judesimpson.co.uk.
