Anstey Fair - Sunday 8th July - 1pm - 5pm

Home-Start are having a stall at this event, please come and say Hi!  We will have some games on the stall for everyone to take part in and also for the dads and lads, come and have a game of table top football - every time you take part in a game there is the chance to win a meal at one of the local pubs!

Information about the event

There is no better way to spend a summer Sunday afternoon than to visit Anstey Fair. This is a Traditional Country Fair full of entertainment for all the family. Located at Anstey Bury, Anstey, near Buntingford, Herts SG9 0DFon Sunday 8th July 2018 starting at 1pm until 5pm. Admission is £2 per adult and children under 16 are free. With Free parking.

They will have many stalls, games and events for all the family. Why not listen to Live Music by Local Musicians, including the Braughing SingMartin Kaszak & Faradena Afifi and Sky West.

Purchase some beautiful Plants for the garden, see some local Crafts, purchase some Locally Grown Produce, have a Airbrush Tattoo or have some fun with Face Painting for the children, find the item you have always wanted on the Bric-a-brac stall, try your luck at Tombola, look for a good read on the Book stall, find an outfit or just browse at the Good as New Clothes plus many other local stalls(click here to view the stallholders attending).

There are plenty of games to participate in as well. If you are a budding tennis star then take part in the Tennis Competition, knock down a few Coconuts, if you can, release all your tension by having a go at China Smashing or Bat the Rat, plus many others including Bowling for a PigMoney TreeLadder GameStocks and Open the Box. There are also Champagne & Whisky Raffles throughout the afternoon, you never know your luck...

Anstey Fair also has a tasty array of food and refreshments available. You can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of home made cakevery nice on a Sunday afternoon. They also have a selection of soft drinks and squash.

For the hungry they have savoury items which include sausage rolls and cheese scones which are all home made. Also hot BBQ food and a Licensed Bar, if you feel in the need for something a bit stronger, they will be serving Pimmswine and beerNow doesn't that sound good.

This all adds up to a brilliant family afternoon out and all proceeds go towards helping the Anstey Church, the Anstey Village Hall, Anstey Pre-School and Anstey First School
