There is no better way to spend a summer Sunday afternoon than to visit Anstey Fair. This is a Traditional Country Fair full of entertainment for all the family. Located at Anstey Bury, Anstey, near Buntingford, Herts SG9 0DFon Sunday 8th July 2018 starting at 1pm until 5pm. Admission is £2 per adult and children under 16 are free. With Free parking.
We have many stalls, games and events for all the family. Why not listen to Live Music by Local Musicians, including the Braughing Sing, Martin Kaszak & Faradena Afifi and Sky West. We are delighted to welcome them. Purchase some beautiful Plants for the garden, see some local Crafts, purchase some Locally Grown Produce, have a Airbrush Tattoo or have some fun with Face Painting for the children, find the item you have always wanted on our Bric-a-brac stall, try your luck at Tombola, look for a good read on the Book stall, find an outfit or just browse at our Good as New Clothes plus many other local stalls(click here to view the stallholders attending).
There are plenty of games to participate in as well. If you are a budding tennis star then take part in the Tennis Competition, knock down a few Coconuts, if you can, release all your tension by having a go at China Smashing or Bat the Rat, plus many others including Bowling for a Pig, Money Tree, Ladder Game, Stocks and Open the Box. There are also Champagne & Whisky Raffles throughout the afternoon, you never know your luck...
Anstey Fair also has a tasty array of food and refreshments available. You can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of home made cake, very nice on a Sunday afternoon. We also have a selection of soft drinks and squash. For the hungry we have savoury items which include sausage rolls and cheese scones which are all home made. We have hot BBQ food and a Licensed Bar, if you feel in the need for something a bit stronger, serving Pimms, wine and beer. Now doesn't that sound good.
This all adds up to a brilliant family afternoon out and all proceeds go towards helping the Anstey Church, the Anstey Village Hall, Anstey Pre-School and Anstey First School
